Supported data file format: GEDCOM 5.5 lineage-linked files industry standard format supported by most genealogy software.
Limitations:
- supported GEDCOM versionform: 5.5 lineage-linked only
- supported GEDCOM character sets: ANSEL, ANSI, ASCII, MACINTOSH, UNICODE and UTF-8 only
- events other than births, deaths and marriages are ignored
- dates are treated as is no processing is done on the values read from the data file
- GEDCOM files over 4 Mb cannot be imported, as they may significantly impact the applications performance especially during the file import stage
